If you think of rummy as side income, the only number that matters is: total withdrawn minus total deposited. Wallet balances, bonus credit and “today’s winnings” banners don’t tell you that. A simple log does.
The columns
| Date | App | Deposit (₹) | Withdrawal received (₹) | Fees / deductions (₹) | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Oct | Example app | 200 | first deposit | ||
| 9 Oct | Example app | 150 | 10 | test withdrawal |
Example rows are illustrative. Record a withdrawal only when it reaches your bank, not when the app shows “success”.
The monthly check
- Add up deposits and bank-received withdrawals for the month.
- Subtract deposits from withdrawals. If the result is negative, you paid for entertainment that month.
- Compare with the limit you set. If you went over, take a break.
What not to count
- Bonus balance. It isn’t yours until it becomes withdrawable.
- Pending withdrawals. See what to do when one is stuck.
- “Win streak” screenshots. Only the bank statement counts.
Warning signs in your log
More than one deposit a day, deposits right after a loss, or a growing gap between deposits and withdrawals. If you see these, stop and read our responsible-play notes on the disclaimer page.
